Rock 'n' Roll Winter Camp $130Purchase required to enroll

Beginning musicians in SOR Rock N’ Roll Camps learn music by playing music, making new friends, creating life long memories, and most importantly… having tons of fun!

Through various instrument workshops and lots of encouragement in a non-intimidating environment, we hope to hone in on your student’s love of music and/or natural talent. Each session culminates in a performance for friends and family. This is a great way to experience the School of Rock 101 program in a condensed version. The songs are chosen to highlight the skills needed to build a strong foundation on a respective student’s musical instrument. For example, a beginning guitar player needs to learn power chord shapes, so we have picked a few well-known, classic songs that use these forms as a basis to introduce the concept.

Students work in a hands-on atmosphere that includes:

• Learning the nuts and bolts of live performance

• Studio/band rehearsal time

• Instruction and clinics with music professionals

• Music theory and songwriting courses

• Rock & Roll music appreciation

• Interacting with other young musicians

• A LIVE rock show performance for your friends and family

Recommended Ages: 7+, Kids DO NOT need to have musical experience to participate.
